Media “Mogul” Moses Znaimer brings the marketing and advertising community U of Z. University of Zoomers (Boomers with Zip)… more frightening than the name is the “my son has a computer and CorelDraw™ so he can just do it” logo created for this virtual eyesore.

Not to beat this one to death (because it’s almost too easy) but not often do you come across a logo that was launched by such a seasoned media savvy tycoon that has pretty much broken every design rule ever created… but here goes.

The type choice is extremely awkward and heavy handed. The clip art icons… are clip art icons. The various line weights will make it impossible to reproduce in different sizes and on different substrates (god forbid someone would want to embroider or screen this on a garment). The crest is one dimensional and the colour palette is actually just rude. Finally the Latin motto on the bottom scroll which reads “Cori. Menti. Libidos. Argenti…” I think translates to “Grape. Circus. Florida. Bingo Hall.”

Can’t wait to enroll.
