Think Simple Act Simple

This is one in a series of fold down posters done for Play-Doh (by Think Simple Act Simple). Great concept, and a clean execution. Read More.

Ahhhh-loe

Perhaps the most ironic post for this site ever, Aloe reimagines the role of erotic toys.

WAD magazine

WAD’s an urban fashion and culture magazine that takes a really unique approach to its publishing. Not only have they set up a totally awesome way to navigate older editions on their site, they’ve also reworked how each issue is themed and edited. A guest editor, that is usually a top player in a particular industry (including the head of Ed Banger Records), is given free rein over their own issue. Here

Dipsticks

My fascination with poly-urethane resin art continues with Dipsticks, a sculpture series by Brooklyn based artist Nick van Woert. These mutated, warted, deformed figures are anything but vile. Check his Dipsticks (the humans) series here.

Andrew Holder

Andrew’s a Florida-born painter/illustrator with a really well thought out style. The work on his site exemplifies how nicely he can combine both organic and geometric shapes into some tight layouts. Be sure to have a look at the painted deer heads, they’re sweet.
