This is the latest from Del Monte, individually packaged bananas. They’re apparently recyclable, and will eventually be made biodegradable. However, I couldn’t help but notice that bananas already have a compostable wrapper, ie the peel.

A publication that’s been running since 1997, it’s a shame 12 years only got the website this far…

Somebody please tell me this is a well executed internet prank. Mami Magazine has an article reporting that Swarovski has created bejeweled contact lenses. No word on whether or not these will be released as a line.
