Don’t you hate carrying around your empty water bottle, just because you feel bad throwing it out? The Vapur Anti-bottle conveniently solves that problem in a matter of folds. Once you’re done with it, you can roll it up and stick it in your pocket. Pretty handy.

I like bikes. Especially this bike from Swiss company BMC. A Red Dot winner in the ‘best of the best’ category in 2009. Throw in a design award from the International Design Forum in Hanover and you have a pretty amazing bike that I’m sure performs as well as it looks.

A while ago I upgraded to a Pro-Ject III turntable and have since been searching for the perfect tube amp to accompany it. I recently stumbled upon this gorgeously designed Elekit tube amp by Koichi Futatsumata of Case-Real in Japan. Check out more by Case-Real here.

Wasara has designed what is likely the most beautiful disposable tableware collection ever made. The concept according to them was to incorporate Japanese aesthetics into a paper plate product. I’d definitely rather use these over styrofoam.

I doubt i’d really ever need a portable mini-printer. But if I did, i’d invest in this little guy. The Printstik is a mere 2×2x11″, and get this: it doesn’t even need ink. Read More.

Very cool little camera — it’s digital, has an auxiliary power crank if the battery runs out, has a bunch of cool built-in lenses, and you build it yourself. Find out more about the camera and the project developed by Shree Nayar and graduate students at Columbia University. Check it out.

Ashley Linnenbank designed this bold concept for milk packaging that would surely get noticed on the shelves at the grocery stores. At a time when people are interested in getting more in touch with where their food comes from - it’s a very fun idea - almost looks like it came from Ikea.

“Help Remedies was created to make solving simple health issues simple.” By focusing on the solution rather than the brand name, this company brings a fresh new approach to marketing basic health care products. The packaging is also compostable. Help was developed by Richard Fine and Nathan Frank, two young advertising executives from NY.

I wish I had one of these when I was in university, what a wonderful idea - to be able to have a lightweight, portable stove for whenever you need it. Or imagine having an oven in your kitchen, with no permanent stovetop - just coveted counterspace everywhere - you just plop out your placemat stovetop whenever/wherever you need it. The Cooka placemat stove is created of non-toxic LSR (Liquid Silicon Rubber) that you can roll up and stow away easily. The cooking plates heat up/cool down rapidly with silver thermal conduction.

This is one of the most horribly wonderful things I’ve ever seen. It’s kitch at it’s most brilliant. This is what happens when you let artists design your clothes. Apparently Lady Gaga has a team of artists that help design her wardrobe. She wore this wonderful thing for an interview in Germany recently, she walked into the interview as if she is wearing a mink jacket. Remember those mink jackets from the 1930’s-40’s era - that actually had mink heads on them? Made me wonder what Ms. Piggy would have thought about this - yikers. Imagine the possibilities though,Lady Gaga could start a spoof of Hermes, and call it “Kermes”.
