
A really well known illustrator these days, originally grew up in Scarborough (now working out of LA). Definitely worth a look.

Designers and illustrators were invited to submit artwork for print on the side of Freitag trucks. After circulation the banner will be cut down and used in the production of their bags. Above is the winning design, as decided by a panel of judges including Stefan Sagmeister. Apparently if you spot the truck and send in a picture they’ll give you a free bag. Click here for more.

I tagged this as spanking because it’s naughty, not necessarily bad. German agency .start has given Burger King’s North American agency of record, CP&B, a run for their money in terms of attention generating ads. The caveat here being that most of the attention seems to be negative. Click through and judge for yourself.

A designer/director who’s done some great trailer/credit work for a number of big films. Totally worth checking out and loading a few of the quicktime trailers (if you haven’t already seen his stuff at the movies).
