Designers and illustrators were invited to submit artwork for print on the side of Freitag trucks. After circulation the banner will be cut down and used in the production of their bags. Above is the winning design, as decided by a panel of judges including Stefan Sagmeister. Apparently if you spot the truck and send in a picture they’ll give you a free bag. Click here for more.

Check out the work by Arizona based illustrator Ken Jacobsen. Unfortunately it’s not easy to find working illustrators that can produce this type of classic work. The alphabetical image archive is fun to look through and is a testament to the volume of work that Jacobsen has produced.
