A great project from this Toronto based print shop.

Submit a link to an example of a creative collaboration or some kind of hybrid design (something you think is particularly well done) and get a chance to win a series of one-of-a-kind hybrid-themed prints from Public Office (located here in Toronto!).
The collaboration/hybrid can be a mix of two different styles, ideas, or even an artist or designer collaborating with a brand… pretty much anything (just has to be awesome). Contest closes August 4th, so get your entries in! The winner will get their link published to DesignPorn’s main site (giving you recognition for your find), as well as receive the three poster prize pack. **To submit an entry please post your link as a comment to this post**. Good luck!
Check out a sneak peek of some of Public Office’s work below. This particular series is printed on 100 year old paper, featuring various people/animal hybrids.

Check out these pretty eye-catching posters for studio pantomime Plastics by Zhishi, a graphic designer from Russia.

Stellar work from a ton of different designers (there’s some really great stuff on there!), but what’s with the website!? I’m not sure if it’s intentionally random or just buggy. At the very least, it forces you to peruse (not awesome if you’re trying to go back to something specific). These two posters are from via grafik and josh vanover (left-to-right).

This is a great project by Cardon Webb (Cardon Copy) in New York. He finds cluttered, misguided, and often funny posters around the city, re-designs them to look better, which results in an overall more effective poster!

Jason Munn is a designer working out of Oakland California, with a knack for band posters. He started The Small Stakes in 03 with a focus on the music industry. Since then he’s produced work locally and internationally, lots of great minimalistic projects up on his site.

Check out these posters designed for Japanese baseball team the Chiba Lotte Marines.

It’s a poster contest being held in Milan, where hundreds were invited to submit designs that draw attention to a number of different social issues. The concept’s great and there’ll be lots to look at, as they’ve ‘short’ listed 210 posters for the June 19th showing/judging.

They’re a local design and screen print shop that focuses on concert posters and such. Check out the site and all their work here.
