
Wasara has designed what is likely the most beautiful disposable tableware collection ever made. The concept according to them was to incorporate Japanese aesthetics into a paper plate product. I’d definitely rather use these over styrofoam.

Designed by Shin Okada, this humidifier is made of Hinoki (a rot-resistant wood from Japanese Cypress) that naturally draws water from it’s base and spreads moisture into the air. It’s a great low-fi solution to dry conditions, and certainly better looking than electric humidifiers (not to mention quieter).

A paint-less concept from Ryan Harc (a new design firm as of earlier this year) who proposes no paint be used to save on various environmental costs. Plus, the embossing looks great.

Korean designer’s interpretation of a record player. A red ball travels around the record, equipped with a small needle and speaker, playing music as it goes. Nice website too.
